Removal and Disposal of Stairlifts

Stairlifts are relatively quick and easy to remove and will take from less than an hour (for a simple straight lift) to a couple of hours (for a curved stairlift), almost all modern stairlifts are screwed down to the actual staircase and not the walls, however some will have the occasional bracket that may be screwed in to a wall (in the case of old type platforms)

What is included in the stairlift removal service?

Removal of the stairlift seat and chassis
Removal of the stairlifts rail system (straight or curved)
Removal of the chargers and any external boxes
Cleaning (vacuuming) of the stair case after removal
Reinstatement of hand rails if they were removed and stored prior to removal
Making good (filling) holes in walls, left ready to be sanded
Remove from site and disposal of the lift in accordance with regulations

What is not included in stairlift removal service?

Replacement or repair of the carpets (this can be arranged for you via a third party if required)
Decoration/painting of the walls or woodwork
